Dear Future Husband,

Dear Future Husband,

Get comfy because this is one long letter. Don't worry i won't start writing the lyrics of Meghan Trainor's "Dear Future Husband", but I actually think there are a few things we could pick up from that song you know? We'll get to that in a bit.

So I'm guessing that you're probably single like me or in a relationship with a girl you think will be your forever, I mean the caretaker can only do so much, but the landlord owns the house so goodluck with that because,I'll be waiting for you.
Writing this letter is both heartwarming and scary at the same time. Scary because the thought of going on this forever journey is quite a lot to down but heartwarming because I know that you'll be by my side through it all.

Before we get to the point where we have to talk about suits, dresses, location, etc there are some things that I just want to let you know which I'm hoping would make our marriage a beautiful one. It's not like…

Girlschat series 9 || Let's Talk About Deal Breakers

Hey Lovelies!
I can't believe it's another Thursday again! Big ups to you guys that are always taking time to visit my blog and also keeping it a date every Thursday with Danie and I, thank you so much and God bless you!

I had so much fun reading all your comments last week, I think we should hear from the boys once in a while or what do you ladies think? Don't worry this week is for us ladies but guys are welcome to join too.
Okay so, this week I'm back with something very interesting as well as important especially when it comes to relationships and guys generally.

Often times, a guy walks up to us with the intention of asking us out and certain things about him just puts us off, and there and then we decide it's a No No!
At other times, it might not even be a first sight thing, we might even find ourselves in relationships with these guys, and some of the characteristics they exhibit just makes us wish that we didn't agree to go on this ride in the first pl…

Hey Guys!

How are you? I hope your weekend was splendid too? Okay so today's #mondayinspiration is a guest post by a friend of mine and an amazing writer Ulochi. I hope this inspires you like it did me.

Here goes..

Life is short. That is one fact we always have to be very conscious of. And as such, we should make deliberate efforts towards being better each day of our short lives.
Now, what makes a success? Is it hard work, love, commitment? Or is it luck? You might wanna answer that question yourself. But then, if you work hard without the right attitude, you’re as good as wasting your life. If you’re a leader and you do not have the right attitude towards those you’re supposed to be leading, then you’re as good as no leader and eventually your so called followers withdraws their support and loyalty and you’re back to square zero. If you love someone and you do not have a good attitude, then my dear, you are soo wrong.

I know this subject or topic is a very well talked about s…

Girlschat series 8|| Are women too Dramatic?

Heyy People!
Notice I didn't say queens? Yeah that's because the guys will be joining us today and so this particular Girlschat is a special edition! Whoop Whoop!

Okay So, about two weeks back, my friends and I were discussing about some of the topics we've talked about here on Girlschat series (hey girls!), and then somehow we entered this topic. The Blogger that I am quickly registered it somewhere in my brain that this was going up on the blog really soon..Lol
What really made me want to put this up was the fact that there was a guy amongst us who was really pained and had a lot to say about girls and their drama, in fact he said he was done with girlsπŸ˜‚
Now this made me want to really know if women are really that dramatic, or are they just exaggerating? I decided that I wanted to find out from the boys, of course I knew what they would say and man, I did have a good laugh.

For your curious minds, here goes..

Girlschat Series 7|| The Concept Of Sidechics

Hello Queens!

How has been your week so far? Fab I'm sure. Welcome to another Girlschat Series and today's topic as you might have noticed is quite a juicy one, so grab your popcorn, your drink and let's get cracking...whatever that means.

Okay So when Daniella (I'm sure y'all know her by now) was talking to me about starting this collaboration, she listed some of the kinds of topics we would talk about and " the concept of sidechics" was one that caught my attention. Now ever since then I've been looking forward to writing about it. You're probably wondering why we're talking about "the other woman" but the truth is after looking in deeply, I realized there are quite a few things that we could draw out from this topic.
Make no mistake, we're …

Phobias, Habits and Obsessions

Hello Beautiful People,
How are you today? Great I hope. So Daniella my friend and blogger tagged me on this post about phobias, habits and obsessions, and while reading her own post I realized that we actually have some things in common. (You can see her own post Here!)

Here goes...

1) Crossing the Road: This actually started since when I was little. I remember sometimes when I see so many cars coming at me especially on those Lagos roads, I would grip my aunt hand's so tight and sometimes start crying. There's just something about so many cars coming my way without stopping, its almost like they're all out to get me😝. My friends know that I would wait till all the cars have finished passing before I cross. Sometime this year when I went home, I followed my dad somewhere and we were supposed to cross the road together, I didn't know when I gripped his hand, he just looked at me like "what's wrong with this girl?" But of course he's my dad s…

5 Ways To Face Your Fears

Hey Guys!

Welcome to a new week. How was your weekend? Beautiful I'm sure. Mine was nice, I went to see the movie "Suicide Squad" with my friends, it was quite nice though. As this is not a review of the movie, I can't really give you much details, but you should see it.

Last week I stumbled upon a blog post that addressed fears and failures. It was actually a personal account of how the writer has given into so much of her fears, how she failed before she even started but most importantly, how she was able to get up after this. While I read this post, I realized that this is what a lot of us go through on a daily basis. We have so many things that we  are afraid of. As young adults, we are so worried and afraid of what the next step of our lives holds for us particularly when everything doesn't seem to be going as planned and also when we see our mates having it all 'rosy'.

I always say that one thing I have learned in life is that everybody has their o…

Welcome to another Girlschat Series and if you're just joining us for the first time, it's better late than neverπŸ˜‰ catch up on the previous topics by searching for "GirlSChat Series". Don't forget that if you have any topic you want us to discuss, you can send an email to or let me know in the comment section.

Having said that, I have a very interesting topic for discussion next week God's willing, you really don't want to miss itπŸ˜‰

Now as young Ladies/Women we need to actually eat foods that will help develop our bodies and protect us from the different kinds of diseases that women are prone to; cancer, fibrous, heart diseases, to mention but few. Some …
