#MondayInspiration: 4 Reasons Why You Need A Great Support System

While I was sitted in church yesterday, we had our quarterly sunday school preview and one of the topics had to do with helping and supporting others, with specific reference to Aaron and Hur as they lifted up moses's hand during the battle between the Isrealites and Amalekites. This singular act eventually led to the success on the part of the Israelites. (Exodus 17 : 12)

Now before then, I had already been thinking about writing on the importance of having a great support system in our lives and yesterday was a confirmation for me. So here we are!

How was your weekend? Mine was very eventful😊 more details later in the week!

Often times, we all like to put up a show of having it all together when we really don't. Truth is, it's okay to feel lost, helpless, confused and all those other emotions we dread but that is what makes you human. So, rather than make people think that you totally "got this" when you don't got nothing, let them know! Especially those y…

7 Tips For a 'Fantastic' Attitude

I was recently opportuned to go through Keith Harrell's "Attitude is everything" again after a very long time. I had the book while I was in Uni, but somehow I lost it without even discovering the gem that was in it. This time around, I wasted no time in bringing out my pen and book while I jotted some very key points which I'll be sharing with you today.

Funny thing is that this part of the book I will be sharing is just the introduction, so now I'm wondering, what will the rest of the book be like?
If you follow the blog well, you would remember that there was a guest post on attitude here ,you could just say that's the preamble of today's post.

This post is basically telling you what you need to do to have a fantastic attitude towards everything in life.

Here goes;

1) Understand The Power of Attitude: You need to understand that the various kinds of attitude we exhibit towards the situations in your life will either make it mar you. There is a wide ra…

You guys remember this tag right? I did a post on it last year and I loved it, now I've decided that I'll probably make it a little bit more frequent. It's just a way of keeping up with ourselves you know? πŸ˜‰
Incase you missed the last one, you can catch up here !

How's the weekend going? Mine is a little bit quiet, power holding people have done what they know how to do best.

Anyways, Currently I am,

Wearing: a gown, as opposed to my normal me-time uniform.

Admiring: My beautiful "Aunty-mi" and small mummy, my own Barrister Lawyer, Mother to 3 hefty boys who still manages to look beautiful and young. The Lord is your muscle😊

Wishing: that all these online shopping people will stop doing me strong thing, I need to get me a dress before Saturday.😩

In awe of: The way God sometimes answers instantly! I had a recent experience like that and honestly I first had to sit down because I was too perplexed. I just want you to know that God is never lateπŸ˜‰

I promised and I delivered! Lol

Welcome to the second part of my Valentine's special posts. This post as I explained here , is for the singles. In other words, I would be sharing some ways in which you can enjoy Valentine's day as a single.

Valentine's day is a day to show love isn't it? Now if you find yourself without a significant other on Valnetines day, this is not a good enough reason to mope around or be hateful of the love others are 'sharing'. So why not show yourself some love instead? How bout dah? πŸ˜‰

I have discovered that a lot of people tend to interpret Valentine's day to be 'dependency' day either unknowingly or knowingly and this shouldn't be so. Its okay to want to be loved, actually everybody wants to be loved but like I said earlier, being single on a day like this is not the end of the world and here's how to go about it like a PRO!

1) Go About Your Normal Business: I mean obviously, instead of going through every tom,…

Love is in the air!

Well I just couldn't think of a better way to start the post, pardon my lack of creativityπŸ˜—

How are you guys doing?

Okay so I noticed that it's been a while since I played love doctor and I thought to myself, what better time to do so, than now when Valentine's day is fast approaching! Like I always say, I'm not an expert but I just like to share the little I know on matters like this.

I don't know why, but this year I'm really feeling up to it and so, I have decided to make my valentine posts in 'two-folds' ; for the couples and the singles like me!

This particular post is for the couples. I have put together four (4) tips to make your valentines day celebration memorable and worth it!

1) Create Time For Your Partner: The importance and value of time on a day like this, is something that cannot be overemphasized. This is a day that a lot of people are expectant of different things but most importantly, love, care and affection an…

Hello Beautiful People!

You can tell I'm excited about this post and I hope you will be too in a short while.
If you missed our January style personality, you can catch up here
Our February Style Personality is a guy that I honestly love his style! The fact that style to him means more than dressing up is also something I admire. So without wasting your time, let's get right to it!

A: Hello! Can you please tell us a bit about yourself?

C: I'm Christos. I have 3 sisters and I love them so much,  First child and the only son. How's that for basics?  Lol

A: Haha! Its cool. If I was to describe your style I would say it's very classy, but how would you describe your style?

C: I describe my style as smart casual. I find the "smartest" pieces of clothing I own,  dress it up and put a twist to it.  So I sort of dangle between both worlds of business  smart and laid back casual. My style has been described by friends as "urban"  or even "street-ish…

It's no news that movies and I have a special bond that we share.  Series however, have a special place in my heart and that's why I'm always looking for new tv series to get hooked on. Now if you remember correctly, my both posts on series here and here were "eurocentric", and I had said I was going to make a list of my Favorite Nigerian Tv series soon. Well today is that day!

I have five (5) Nigerian series that I think people should see because they're extremely relatable and very hilarious. You already know I'm all for humour anytime anyday!

Without further ado, here are my top 5 Nigerian Tv series:

1) Jenifa's Diary: I recently told my friend to check his head and sense of humour because he said jenifa's diary is not funny! I don't know about you but I can never get over how she comes up with the terrible English she speaksπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. You think you've heard it all and she throws another one! This is definitely one of my faves not only …
