Showing posts from June, 2017

Most of the times when I'm completely away from the internet, I get some really random, funny and interesting post ideas. This post happens to be one of such. I remember I was just on my bed and I suddenly thought about this. This post is purely for humour sake, so if you're having a bad or a slow day, I gatchu. πŸ˜‰

Okay, so I'm guessing almost all of us have been on an ATM queue, and if you haven't, I guess you can say this is a preparatory post for when the time comes. In this part of the world especially, we have very 'intriguing' personalities who use every opportunity to 'manifest' themselves.

Today's post is centered around the different kinds of individuals you will meet on an ATM queue, with a little help from my personal experience of course.

Stay with me!

1) The ones who are always travelling urgently or in a hurry to go somewhere, so they begin to beg for space to quickly use the ATM, as if I came to play too. Truth be told, I've all…

Networking is one of the major neccesities that a blogger or influencer has to get around for his/her growth and progress in this modern day and age.
After our first meet up in march, we stayed in touch and decided on another one that eventually took place on Saturday the 24th of June 2017 at City Park, Wuse 2.

This time around, I also met new people like LilyofNigeria , Cynthia of Shugasdiary , Alexandre who was the only guy in our midst and lastly Binta.
Sarah of Princessaudu was also present, as well as Deka of Diaryofanabujamom , Mimi of Ramblingsofmimi who was the brain behind the meet up was obviously in attendance too.

Cynthia of shugasdiary

We started off with a game that Mimi suggested. For every line on the tissue paper you cut, you have to say something about yourself, it was pretty interesting and funny.
As usual, we talked about content creation, blogging and how to develop ourselves more. We had a more 'structured' line-up than the last time…

As a 90's kid, majority of the people I hang out with are in their 20's- early, middle or late are all included, so it's no mistake that I'm writing a post for us! Personally, I think our 20's are the years a lot of personal, life changing decisions are made, I like to call it the formative years.

This is one post that has been in my drafts for a very long time now, why haven't I posted it you might ask? I wanted it to be as realistic, relatable and ready as possible (You can call it the 3R's 😏, okay bad joke, lol). Now that I finally got around completing it, I decided it was ready enough to be shared with you guys!

I'm no expert in these things, but I bet you al knew that already, didn't you? However, I like to share my own opinion on certain matters. So from mide's (that's me! 😊) point of view, here are 20 things to do in your 20's!

1) Find Who You Are and Live Up To It: Discovering yourself and your purpose is something you have t…

RELATIONSHIP TALKS || Checking Your Partner's Phone; Right Or Wrong? Why?

So I was checking through my post schedule and titles, and I realized that my dearest 'relationship question and answer' segment has been missing for a while, so this is me officially welcoming you to another juicy session πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

Today's title is one that is quite controversial as you might have seen, nevertheless, I had an amazing time asking my friends and reading their replies. For everyone who answered me, thank you so muchπŸ’• (even the ones who didn't want me to snitch on them, but I still did though😊)

Okay! That said,

Question of the day: Checking your partner's phone; right or wrong? Why?

Take a look at what they said...

Toluwani said: "It's wrongπŸ˜„, I feel checking your partner's phone is a big sign of lack of trust, and would advice any single that if you feel you have to check your partner's phone, then there is something not right in that relationship, please don't continue... For the ladies abeg, if he is constantly checking and m…

#mondayinspiration || 8 Success Principles + Giveaway Winners!

So I'm currently reading this book 'How to Get From Where You Are To Where You Want To Be' by Jack Canfield, and it's a real gem I must confess, by the time you're reading it, you will begin to realize how you much you still have left to do in order to live the life of your dreams.

You guys already know I'm a nice person, that's why I've decided to share some lessons that I've learned so far. Also I'll be announcing the giveaway winners later in the post, so stick around! πŸ˜‰

There are certain principles of success that we need to apply in our lives daily that will take us closer to dreams by the minute.

Here goes...

1) Take 100% Responsibility For Your Life: I mean, it's yours afterall. There is only one person responsible for the quality of the life you live and that person is you. For you to be successful in life, you have to take full responsibility for everything that you experience: be it your level of achievements, the kind of relation…

Last year december, I wrote a post on my holiday wishlist , and I had about 5 items present in that list. Now I had just written with the belief that somehow I would get them. Amongst the first three items in my wishlist were 'The smart money woman' and the 'Cassiedaves Blog Planner' and since I wasn't too 'rich' at the time to get these items, I resorted into giveaways.

Everywhere that I saw people giving out any of these two things, I always participated. At some point, I stopped limiting my chances to the 'cassiedaves' brand but any form of planner or goal book that could just aid my productivity.

Okay enough long story, you guys already know I won the ' Smart money woman ' , and now I also won the 'goaldigger' goal book by Adebola Idowu through the Sekinat Sanni giveaway. (No jazz here people! It's just favour πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚)

My post today is not to gloat about my winnings as it may have seemed😊 but to tell you the importance of hav…

So today's post is one of the very popular trends amongst bloggers, and I've wanted to 'jump on it' for a while now. It's very similar to the Currently I am post and equally fun.
