#mondayinspiration || 3P's of Purpose + Giveaway!

Fufilling purpose in this journey of life is something that is extremely important to out existence and as such, we have to take it very seriously. A person without a purpose is merely existing without actually living because there is no drive, no zeal, no intent whatsoever, such person is just 'there'.

Today's #mondayinspiration post brings to you what I call the 3P's of Purpose. During Sunday school sometime ago, we talked about it and it crossed my mind again so I thought to share with you guys!

How was your weekend? Mine was Turnt! I attended a youth programme where we talked about creativity unleashed (story for another day) and it was amazing, I was so glad to be part of it.

Let me also use this opportunity to say Ramadan Kareem to all my Muslim friends and readers πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰
May God answer all our prayers.

Having said that, The 3P's of Purpose;

1) Potential: Everybody has one or more in-built abilities, talents, gifts, etc that we have been given. Discovering the…

6 Ways To Manage Your Time On Social Media

Social Media! The average millennial's best friend, the tool that was put in place for us to use but always ends up using us!

Okay before I go on sounding like a poet that I'm not, we can all agree that social media can be our very own bane without proper usage and management and to think that there are so many of them now!

Personally, a tangible part of the money I dont have I have in Jesus name goes to the purchase of data just to be updated on what's happening on the gram, who just got jammed on Twitter, etc. Dont even get me started on these service providers that know how to chop your money πŸ˜‘

Asides these trivial purposes, as a blogger I have more pressing issues like making and promoting posts, maintaining a credible online presence,etc.

So how do we really get around all these?

This post brings to you ways of managing your time on social media so that it doesn't suck you into oblivion and leave you unproductive.

Let's get to it! Shall we?

#Mondayinspiration || 3 Reasons Why You Should Stop Giving Excuses!

If there's anything we humans know how to do very well, it is to give excuses. Excuses have become a huge part of our lives that even things that are of grave importance to our lives and careers, we downplay it and look for a way around it to make sure we delay it or don't do it at all.

What we don't realize however is that, excuses have very lasting consequences and we must make a concious effort to desist from giving excuses and just get on with it!

I hope your weekend was well spent? I think mine was😊

Today's #mondayinspiration post is one that tells you reasons why you need to stop giving excuses.

Stay with me!

1) Excuses Will  Make You an Under-Achiever: Where risk takers are, one who gives excuses incessantly can never be found there. You begin to wonder why one person is wayyy ahead of you when you both started out together? It's because you keep giving excuses instead of acting out those great ideas that God has given you. Quit the Excuses and Don't b…

Sometimes, we get so tired after a long day's job, and it's almost as if we were hit by one invisible stick that just knocks us down to the extent that you won't even be able to keep your eyes opened. Don't even get me started on the combining factors that can add to the stress; the traffic and the sun being very prominent factors. We all have those days.

Now after a very stressful day like this, a lot of us don't know that we're supposed to relax and unwind in order for us to be well rested for the next day. Nigerians in particular make it seem like resting and relaxing is for those who are jobless and not serious. We are all about that 'hustle' life. As much as it is very neccessary and compulsory to chase these dreams and the cheddar, rest should be paramount on our to-do list. Remember that life is for the living.

Enough said. Today's post is a compilation of different ways to unwind after a very stressful day. My list is based on my personal ex…

5 'Not-So-True' Assumptions About Portable People

By popular demand, portable diaries is back! Apparently, people love reading some of my 'short girl problems' 😏. If you haven't read any of the posts in my portable diaries, then feel free to catch up here and here you're welcome!

Today's post is based on certain assumptions people have of small people. Trust me, I would know if they were true or not. Basically, I just want to clarify some things that people tend to think about portable people.

Let's get right to it.

1) People Assume That We're Always Cheated and Bullied: Err...hello? As as matter of fact, it's the other way round most times. I was telling someone the other day that it's almost as if smallish people are made with an in-built defence mechanism. We're so conscious of not wanting to be taken for granted that we're ever ready to attack- some more exreme than others anyway. So to think we always get bullied or cheated is a stretch, we are very well equipped, thank you!

2) Peop…

One of the things that people dread most is being shoved aside and not considered as relevant. The fact that nobody really pays attention to you or anything you have to say, goes a long way to affect your self esteem and confidence. As a result of that, many of us try a lot to just make ourselves noticed, some even resulted to doing it the easy 'high service' way.

In today's post, I have put together some points taken from a book I'm currently reading (Power up, Speak up and Be heard - Kay White) , to help us to be 'heard' wherever we find ourselves in.

How was the weekend? Happy New month once again!

Being Heard is not as easy as it seems and it takes a lot of continuous effort to get to that point that you become a valuable and a rather 'noticeable' person.

I have five (5) points that will definitely help you with that. Stay with me!

1) Be Assertive: Notice I didn't say, 'aggressive'? Yeah that's because they're very different thi…
