EVENT RECAP ||TBP'S BLOGGERS BRUNCH 2

Image
Let me first say that this is one event I'm so glad I got to attend, like i so needed that break! The blogger point did a really amazing job yet again, in fact, I have to say that this year was much more better and fun than last year's brunch  because there were more people in attendance and the rain did not disturb us😝 So let me just jump right into it! The 2nd edition of the blogger point's brunch took place on the 27th of August 2017 at Laguna lounge and bar, central area, Abuja. Please I just have to take a minute to say that Laguna is one very beautiful place, my God!😍 it's spacious and the ambiance is just very peaceful and relaxing. It's a place to be indeed. I got to the event quite late because I got held up at church, and makeup also delayed me because my sister wanted me to look good, I think she did a good job though. The cake had finished when I got there, that's how late I wasπŸ˜†πŸ˜† By the time I got there, they were already...

Networking is one of the major neccesities that a blogger or influencer has to get around for his/her growth and progress in this modern day and age. After our first meet up in march, we stayed in touch and decided on another one that eventually took place on Saturday the 24th of June 2017 at City Park, Wuse 2. This time around, I also met new people like LilyofNigeria  , Cynthia of Shugasdiary  , Alexandre who was the only guy in our midst and lastly Binta. Sarah of Princessaudu  was also present, as well as Deka of Diaryofanabujamom  , Mimi of Ramblingsofmimi  who was the brain behind the meet up was obviously in attendance too. LilyofNigeia Cynthia of shugasdiary  Alexandre We started off with a game that Mimi suggested. For every line on the tissue paper you cut, you have to say something about yourself, it was pretty interesting and funny. As usual, we talked about content creation, blogging and how to develop...

Okay good) Here goes... 1) It's Not Just About Writing : As much as writing and making your opinion known to your readers really matter, that's not the only thing you sh...

EVENT RECAP || ABUJA CREATIVES PICNIC

Image
Hey Guys! How's the week going? Productive I hope? So this weekend, bloggers and content creators in Abuja had a picnic-like meet up at the millennium park and it was a wonderful meeting I must say. I was telling someone that the last time i was at the millennium park was about 12 years ago but the place still had that beautiful and serene ambience it is known for, it was a really nice atmosphere. Before this idea came up, myself and moobib had a discussion immediately after the Kanga Fashion Festival   last month about how Abuja bloggers need to meet up because honestly we have quite a number of us, we also discussed how we shoud meet up informally first just as a way of getting to know each other, and it was just as if Mimi was there during our conversation because the next day she put up a post on Instagram relating to that. Long story short, we decided on meeting up last Saturday and I can say we were way more than 10 people present, and we're still more tha...

EVENT RECAP || KANGA FASHION FESTIVAL

Image
Happy New month Guys! Welcome to March, thank God for these past two months, and by his grace we'll see the end of this year and many more. Remember in this post   when I said my weekend was very eventful?  Yeah it's high time I gave you the full gist! 😊 Sometime in January as I was scrolling through Twitter, I saw this tweet about how bloggers and designers were wanted for a particular event and so, I sent a DM to the person who then explained what Kanga Fashion Festival was all about. Apparently, the Kanga magazine had been in existence for quite a while and it was founded by two sisters who now have other creatives working with them. Anyway, I reached out to my blogger friends here in Abuja, some of whom I met at the TBP's Bloggers Brunch  last year and asked them if they knew about it and all of them asked me one question that really made me laugh, " how do you hear about all these things sef ?". To cut the long story short, the Kanga Fashio...
