PORTABLE DIARIES || SOME OF MY EMBARRASSING MOMENTS

Image
Welcome Welcome! It's another interesting post on the portable diaries, are you excited? I am. Today's post is well, not really as fun for me as it might be for you because I'll be sharing some of my embarrasing moments,😝 but I guess you'd have a good laugh, so we good! 😊 As a portable lady, I get so many people asking me or wanting to ask me about my age. While I was in uni, I was a little popular amongst my lecturers because most of them thought I somehow manuevered my way into the university, so it wasn't new that during tests or exam, one or more lecturers would come up to ask me 'how old are you?' , 'How did you enter into this school?' 'You're too small to be in the university' as if they're the ones paying my fees πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Sometimes in front of the whole class, and you know I'm not talking about 30-40 people here, it can quite embarrassing actually. I was able to master the art of smiling and putting up a good face...

JUST FOR LAUGHS || 11 KINDS OF PEOPLE YOU MEET AT THE ATM QUEUE

Image
Most of the times when I'm completely away from the internet, I get some really random, funny and interesting post ideas. This post happens to be one of such. I remember I was just on my bed and I suddenly thought about this. This post is purely for humour sake, so if you're having a bad or a slow day, I gatchu. πŸ˜‰ Okay, so I'm guessing almost all of us have been on an ATM queue, and if you haven't, I guess you can say this is a preparatory post for when the time comes. In this part of the world especially, we have very 'intriguing' personalities who use every opportunity to 'manifest' themselves. Today's post is centered around the different kinds of individuals you will meet on an ATM queue, with a little help from my personal experience of course. Stay with me! 1) The ones who are always travelling urgently or in a hurry to go somewhere, so they begin to beg for space to quickly use the ATM, as if I came to play too. Truth be told, ...

5 'Not-So-True' Assumptions About Portable People

Image
By popular demand, portable diaries is back! Apparently, people love reading some of my 'short girl problems' 😏. If you haven't read any of the posts in my portable diaries, then feel free to catch up here  and here  you're welcome! Today's post is based on certain assumptions people have of small people. Trust me, I would know if they were true or not. Basically, I just want to clarify some things that people tend to think about portable people. Let's get right to it. 1) People Assume That We're Always Cheated and Bullied : Err...hello? As as matter of fact, it's the other way round most times. I was telling someone the other day that it's almost as if smallish people are made with an in-built defence mechanism. We're so conscious of not wanting to be taken for granted that we're ever ready to attack- some more exreme than others anyway. So to think we always get bullied or cheated is a stretch, we are very well equipped, thank yo...

Hi Guys! How's the week going? I trust you guys are doing well. So I know I did the TMI tag  not too long ago, but I thought since we're in the season of sharing and love, I should share some random facts about me that I bet you didn't know. I actually discovered that these 'personal' posts are what people really like to read, I wonder why😏. (Plus I took some really cute pictures I want to show you guys!) 😊 Okay, I should warn you, it's a long list so get comfy. 1) I'm a portable lady, but you knew that already didn't you? πŸ˜‹ 2) I've always wished my first name was Aramide. Asked my dad once why he didn't make that my first name and he goes " The Lord wanted your first name to be Adeola, but you're an adult now, if you want to change it then change it. " Never that seriousπŸ˜• 3) I don't like Fish, Bread and anything too Sweet. Especially Fish, tastes like metal. 4) I am very Observant. 5) I could be very g...
