#Mondayinspiration || 5 Easy Ways To Stay Organised!
Thank You, Thank You and Thank You!
I am so grateful to all of you guys for your love and warm wishes that you showered on me yesterday, God bless you abundantly and may you be remembered for good.
So yeah, birthday over, it's back to work!
Today's #mondayinspiration post talks about very easy tips to staying organised.
For quite a number of us, we end up with the case of monday blues because we're simply not prepared for the new week. Now I'll be real with you, there's no automatic way to feel better about mondays especially, but I think there are ways to make it better and to end up with a productive week eventually. Staying organised is definitely one of those things.
Stay with me...
1) Keep a Planner or Journal Handy: I have shared a post here talking about reasons why you need a planner or a goal book. It makes you organise your thoughts because sometimes they get pretty overwhelming! Writing them down not only makes you remember, but helps you monitor them. Since I got my planner, before the week begins, I write down my plans for the week especially when it comes to posting schedules, and honestly it has helped me to be more organised to a very large extent.
2) Make a to-do list: After establishing what you want to do for the week, you can then narrow it down to what you want to do for the day. A to-do list is always a good idea! Personally I've come to love the ideas of using colourful sticky notes to itemize what I need to do, I can confidently say that this helps with the monday blues!
3) Put Things Away As Quickly As You Can: Seeing too many things in front of me or even where they are not meant to be not only irks me, but confuses me at times. Things will definitely get scattered, but the faster you put them away, the better you'll see and focus clearly! Whether it's a work, school or at home, try the act of putting things away quickly. Studies shows that it helps increase your productivity.
4) Indulge In Regular Detox: There are certain things we do or indulge in that are 'harmful' to our organisational state of mind.
Now how do we stop them? Detoxification! This goes for all things, food, thoughts, career, friends, etc. If you move around with a negator or someone who feels everything is just pointless, it's only a matter of time before those things begin to fill up your brain space, thereby leaving you disorganised and unproductive. Those unnecessary things that you bury yourself in at work instead of doing your actual work will only waste your limited time and leave you, unproductive yes you guessed right! You see why a regular detox is important?
5) Make Back-up of Everything: If there's any thing I've learned from my dad, it's backing up things. In fact, sometimes it's to a fault especially when it comes to photocopies and those other paper work. It's really comfortable and easy to just believe that nothing will happen, but what if something does happen? It can be nerve-wrecking when you lose something and there's no way of getting it back. There's no two ways about it, you won't be settled talk less of being productive.
So if you're reading this post and you're yet to do some back-ups, you should get to it nowππ
There you have it guys!
Over to You...

Great post Mide! Having a journal/planner and making to do lists really help to keep me sane during the week. You make a great point when you talk about having a back up of your documents and stuff, thanks for sharing girl. xx
